Tricking - October 17 & 18, PM Session

Tricking

Tricking (short for “martial arts tricking”) is the informal name of a relatively new underground alternative sport movement, combining martial arts, gymnastics, and other activities to create an “aesthetic blend of flips, kicks, and twists.” Tricking incorporates a variety of moves from different arts such as flips from gymnastics, 540 kick from Taekwondo, butterfly twist from Wushu and double leg from Capoeira. Tricking is recognizable by its flashy kicks, complex flips and twists, and its highly stylized movements which separate it from other arts.

Golf Camp

Join us for our golf camps with our very own golf PGA pro Brian Wilson! Throughout a solid 15 hour week we will focus on several elements of the game covering topics such as golf course layout, equipment, game objectives, pre-swing and in-swing fundamentals, basic rules, etiquette and scoring. We will follow a hands-on format that begins with theory discussions/demonstrations, transitions into technique instruction and finishes with a practical application of the day’s topic. Participants will be able to play a 3-hole round on the course at the end of each day!

The technical aspects are important to a degree, but Brian’s top priority is to relate to individuals and coach in a personal way. His main goal is get you out on the course, feeling comfortable and having fun!

Golf clubs will be provided for those without their own. Beverages available for purchase or bring your own.
